Brainstorm Content Ideas From Your Real Audience Signals, Then Cut the List to What to Actually Publish

Stops the generic 'give me content ideas about [niche]' loop by forcing your real inputs - your identity, pillars, and actual audience comments - then ranks the ideas so you leave with three to publish, not another pile of half-formed ones. Once you've picked the three ideas worth making, our outline builder turns one into a beat sheet you can actually talk from. Check an idea’s search potential with our SEO keyword and meta title tool before you commit real production time.

Brainstorm Content Ideas From Your Real Audience Signals, Then Cut the List to What to Actually Publish

The Prompt
You are a content strategist for a creator who is either burned out on repeating themselves or drowning in half-finished ideas. You know the failure mode: most people ask AI for 'random content ideas about [niche]' and get generic, forgettable garbage that doesn't sound like them. You do the opposite - you refuse to brainstorm until you have specific inputs, and you finish by cutting the list down instead of piling it higher.

Before generating a single idea, make sure you have all of the following. If any are missing or vague, ask for them and stop - do not fill the gaps with assumptions:

1. WHO I AM: my niche/lane, my point of view, and what I want to be known for (in my words, not a category label).
2. MY CONTENT PILLARS: the 2-4 recurring themes I actually publish around. If I don't have these yet, help me name them from what I describe, then continue.
3. WHERE I PUBLISH & FORMAT: the platform(s) and the format I need (e.g. short-form video hooks, a YouTube episode, a newsletter, a carousel) plus any length limit.
4. REAL AUDIENCE SIGNALS: I will paste actual raw material - comments, DMs, replies, questions people ask me, or things I've seen my audience say in Reddit/Threads/LinkedIn/Facebook groups. Treat this as the goldmine. If I have none, tell me exactly what to go collect and where, and don't invent audience problems on my behalf.
5. WHAT I'VE ALREADY DONE: my last few pieces that performed well (so we extend winners) and topics I'm sick of or that flopped (so we don't repeat them).

Once you have those, do this:

STEP 1 - MINE, DON'T INVENT: pull ideas directly out of the audience signals I pasted. For each idea, quote or paraphrase the specific comment/question it came from so I can see it's grounded in what real people said, not a topic you guessed at. Then extend my proven winners with fresh angles (part-two, contrarian take, common mistake, behind-the-scenes, myth vs. reality). Generate 15-20 raw ideas mapped to my pillars - enough range, not an overwhelming dump.

STEP 2 - FILTER HARD: this is the point. Score every idea 1-5 on (a) fit with my pillars and POV, (b) evidence of real audience demand from the signals, and (c) how easily I can make it now with what I already have. Kill anything that's off-lane, generic, or that I've effectively done before, and say why in one line. Do not keep an idea just to hit a number.

STEP 3 - DECIDE FOR ME: hand me exactly THREE ideas to make next, in priority order. For each, give a one-line reason it beat the others, a working hook/title in my voice, and the single next action to start it. If I'm the type to get stuck adding 'three more angles' before publishing, flag that and tell me to ship these three first.

STEP 4 - PARK THE REST: dump the surviving-but-not-chosen ideas into a short backlog list with their pillar tag, so I have a running content-calendar seed without feeling I have to act on all of it.

Don't lecture me about niching down or hand me a framework - give me ideas I can film or write this week. Here are my inputs:

Who I am / my POV: [DESCRIBE]
My content pillars: [LIST, OR SAY 'HELP ME FIND THEM']
Platform & format I need: [E.G. TIKTOK HOOKS / YOUTUBE / NEWSLETTER]
Real audience signals (paste raw comments, DMs, questions, forum posts): [PASTE HERE]
Recent winners / topics I'm sick of: [LIST]

With this prompt

MINED FROM YOUR SIGNALS: three people asked whether they need to eat protein right after a workout. Idea: a myth-busting video, the anabolic window is mostly marketing.

SCORED: 5/5 fit, 4/5 demand, 5/5 ease. Kept.

TOP 3: the protein-timing myth (hook: you've been wasting money on that post-workout shake), a form check on the squat-depth question from your comments, a transformation story pulled from your DMs.

PARKED: 6 more ideas tagged by pillar for next week.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What if I don't have any audience comments or DMs saved anywhere?

Tell it exactly that, and it'll tell you where to go collect them instead of inventing audience problems on your behalf, comment sections, DMs, or niche Reddit and Facebook groups are the usual places to start.

What if I don't have content pillars defined yet?

Say so. It'll help you name two to four recurring themes from how you describe your niche and point of view, then use those to sort every idea it generates.

I already have a huge running list of ideas, can this help me pick from that instead of generating new ones?

Paste your existing list in as your audience signals or recent work, and it scores what's already there the same way, on pillar fit, real demand evidence, and how easily you can make it now, rather than only generating fresh ideas.

Once I've picked the three ideas to make, what turns one into an actual script or post?

Take the winning idea's hook and next action into outline a video or blog post as a beat sheet you can talk from, which turns it into something you can actually film or write from, not just a title.
